Abstract

This study aims to determine how the learning environment and organizational culture of Darunnajah students influence the
formation of the character of responsibility of students of Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School, Jakarta. A deep understanding
of the factors that shape the character of responsibility is very important to create a learning environment and organizational
culture that can encourage the formation of the character of responsibility in students. This study uses a quantitative method
with data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed to some grade 6 students. Data analysis was carried out using
SPSS 22 for Windows. The results of the study indicate that the learning environment has an influence on the formation of the
character of responsibility with a coefficient of determination of 54.9%. And the organizational culture has an influence on the
formation of the character of responsibility with a coefficient determination of 42.3%. Meanwhile, the learning environment and
organizational culture have an influence on the formation of the character of responsibility with a coefficient of determination of
57.2%.
