Development of Sketchfab-based Interactive Learning Media to Support Biology Learning

Abstract

This research aims to develop Sketchfab-based learning media to support Biology learning in Madrasah Aliyah using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects included X, XI, and XII grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Techno Scientist Malang, with validation carried out by material experts and media experts. The results showed that this media is very feasible to use with an average score of 3.75 material expert validation and 3.64 media expert from a scale of 4. This media is effective in improving student understanding, which is shown through an average increase in posttest scores of 19.03%. In addition, students' satisfaction level with the media reached an average score of 3.62, with the best aspects on visual appeal and ease of navigation, while teachers gave an average satisfaction score of 3.57, especially on the effectiveness of the media in helping explain complex Biology concepts. This media features simple navigation, attractive visuals, and interactive quizzes that support independent learning, but needs language simplification and compatibility optimization for devices with low specifications. Overall, this Sketchfab-based learning media is an effective innovation in improving students' understanding and motivation to learn.
