This study examines teachers' efforts to increase students' motivation and interest in studying the Qur'an and Hadith at MTs Miftahul Muta'allimin Cirebon. This study focuses on understanding how teachers act as motivators, facilitators, and role models in fostering students' love for the Qur'an through creative teaching strategies and a supportive learning environment. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that teachers play a dual role—as educators, organizers, motivators, initiators, and mentors—in designing engaging learning activities such as Qur'an reading and writing programs, memorizing Juz ‘Amma, and Tilawatil Qur'an sessions. Factors that support student learning motivation include the family environment, teacher encouragement, school facilities, and students’ internal awareness. On the other hand, challenges arise from the diverse backgrounds of students, limited learning time, and low awareness of Al-Qur'an studies. This study concludes that innovative strategies and motivational approaches by teachers significantly contribute to developing students' interest and love for Al-Qur'an learning, thereby strengthening their religious character and academic engagement.
