Article Processing Charge

Islamic Education: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam maintains a no-author-fees publication model. The journal's published information states that authors are not charged for publishing their scholarly work.

Submission and Publication Fees

There is no charge for manuscript submission. No article processing charge (APC) is imposed on authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication. Editorial screening, peer review, and publication decisions are conducted without requiring authors to make a payment.

The absence of author fees does not exempt manuscripts from the journal's editorial screening, peer-review process, or publication ethics requirements. Every submission remains subject to evaluation of its relevance to the journal's aims and scope, originality, methodological quality, scholarly merit, and compliance with editorial standards.

Editorial Independence and Transparency

Editorial decisions are based on the scholarly quality of submitted manuscripts rather than the author's financial circumstances. Payment cannot be used to secure acceptance, favorable reviewer recommendations, or publication priority. Manuscripts are assessed according to the same applicable editorial and ethical criteria.

Any future revision to the journal's fee policy should be announced transparently before it applies to prospective authors, including the type of charge, its amount and currency, the stage at which it would become payable, and any applicable conditions. Changes to a fee policy should not be applied retroactively to manuscripts submitted under previously communicated terms without an appropriate agreement.
