Pendidikan Keimanan dalam Kitab Aqidatul Awam karya Sayyid Ahmad Al-Marzuqi

There are many ways to instill faith education in students, one of which is by using the Aqidatul Awam Book by Sayyid Ahmad Al-Marzuqi. This qualitative research, using a literature study approach, will examine the faith education contained in the book. The data analysis uses content analysis by sorting data that is in accordance with the objectives and focus of the research. This study found several things as follows. First, the obligation to believe in Allah who has 20 obligatory attributes, 20 impossible attributes, and 1 jaiz attribute. Second, the obligation to believe in the prophets who have 4 obligatory attributes, 4 impossible attributes, and 1 jaiz attribute. Third, the obligation to believe in angels who are creatures of Allah who do not have a father and mother, and do not eat, drink, and sleep. Fourth, there is an obligation to believe in the books of Allah, namely the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, and the Quran. Fifth, the obligation to believe in the last day, the obligation to know the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad SAW from both his father and mother, and the obligation to know his children, namely Qasim, Abdullah, Ibrahim, Fatimah, Zainab, Ruqayyah, and Umm Kulthum. Apart from that, it is mandatory to know the 9 wives of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, including Aisyah, Hafsah, Saudah, Shafiyah, Maimunah, Ramlah, Hindun, Zainab, and Juwairiyah.
