Penerapan Metode Ummi dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an di SDI Lukman Hakim

Abstrak

The Qur'an is a holy book for the Islamic religion throughout the world. As an eternal holy book, it is also a guide for all mankind. Whoever speaks with the Qur'an, then he speaks the truth. So whoever turns away from the Qur'an, and moves to other guidance is certainly very lost. In terms of obtaining data in research using several techniques, namely: observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. Based on research conducted on the application of the ummi method in improving the ability to read the Qur'an at SDI Lukman Hakim, it can be concluded that the process of learning to read the Qur'an using the ummi method is carried out directly, namely by not spelling out the way to read it with a fast tempo of one beat. For mad reading, the way to read it is by swinging, namely 1 swing is equal to 2 harokat. The direct learning stage has 7 stages, namely the opening stage, the apperception stage, the concept planting stage, the concept understanding stage, the practice/skills stage, the evaluation stage and the closing stage. The results of learning using the Ummi method at SDI Lukman Hakim in the ability to read the Qur'an experienced an increase and development during the use of the Ummi method. The increase and development are that the students' reading is getting better and is in accordance with tajwid and makhorijul huruf.
